Rules of the International Gundog League Retriever Society

All Trophies are held by the recipient for one year only.
At the Judges discretion Diplomas of Merit may be conferred on Competitors having achieved that status.

THE RETRIEVER TRIALS CHAMPIONSHIP CHALLENGE CUP
(Presented by Captain A. Glen Kidston)
Won outright in 1987 by Mr J Halstead running FTCH Breeze of Drakeshead and re-presented to the Society for perpetuity.
THE LADY AUCKLAND MEMORIAL SALVER
is awarded to the winner of the Retriever Championship.
THE KINGSFORD-LETHBRIDGE TROPHY
is awarded to the breeder of the winner of the Retriever Championship.
THE LORNA COUNTESS HOWE MEMORIAL TROPHY
Presented by the Scottish Field Trial Societies and awarded to the best dog entered by an owner wholly resident in Scotland; the dog must win a prize or Diploma of Merit to be eligible.
THE HIWOOD CHALLENGE TROPHY

THE IGL PRESIDENT'S TROPHY
To be won outright by the Winner of the Championship

THE F. T. Ch. ULSTARE STYLE CHALLENGE TROPHY
Presented by Mrs June Heywood-Lonsdale to the dog placed second.

REGULATIONS

The current Champion is entitled to defend the title.

The current Irish Champion is entitled to run.

If a dog that has already qualified for the Championship qualifies again at a subsequent Trial the qualification will not pass to the next dog in order in the awards.

 
Entry deadline (to be advised) - those who qualify after this date must inform the Secretary immediately, but entries will only be deemed to have been accepted on receipt of a completed entry form with the correct fees.
